Has AI killed real authority?
|
Hey Reader, I came across an article recently that I haven't been able to stop thinking about. Harvard Business Review published a piece called "Has AI Ended Thought Leadership?" — and it's written by someone who is a thought leader, founder, Harvard Business School fellow, decades at the intersection of innovation and storytelling. And he's here to tell us the category is dying. Not because original ideas don't matter. They do. But because we've entered a period where AI has made it effortless to look the part. The feeds are full of it. You've seen it. Scratch the surface, and there's nothing there. You know what I am talking about. Here's the part that really landed for me. The article talks about "scar tissue." The idea that real expertise shows up in the specific, messy details.
You can't google that. You can't prompt that. And audiences are getting better at spotting the difference. So here's what I want to say to you. You might be the coach who has spent 15 years helping women rebuild their confidence after burnout — but whose online presence doesn't begin to reflect the depth of what you know. You might be the consultant who has restructured teams inside some of the world's biggest organisations — but who goes quiet online because you don't want to sound like everyone else. You might be the founder who has built, failed, pivoted, and built again — and has more hard-won insight in your little finger than most "thought leaders" have in their entire content library. You have the scar tissue. You have the real expertise. You just don't have a system for getting your story out consistently, in your own voice, without it taking over your life. That's what I can help you with by learning how to leverage AI the right way. Not how to sound like an expert. How to make sure the world finally hears the expert you already are — using AI to amplify what's already yours, not replace it. If this resonates, join me live this Wednesday for a free masterclass and I promise it will change how you think about AI, your content and how you put it out into the world. Abha xx |
