What will people pay for in 2026?

Hey Reader,

I’ve been sitting with a belief that keeps getting louder as we head toward 2026:

Information is no longer scarce.

It’s everywhere. At our fingertips.

PhD-level. Free.

With AI now producing “expert” content at scale, something fundamental has shifted.

Offering your frameworks, playbooks, blueprints, and guides to your audience will still have value, and sure they’re great content.

But as the core value of an expertise-led business?

That will become a harder sell.

Because the real problem today isn’t lack of knowledge.

It’s what to do with it.

And how to apply it in the real world.

Which is why I believe in 2026 people will increasingly pay for these three things:

  • Integration.
  • Implementation.
  • Identity.

Here’s what I mean.

Integration

Most people already know more than they’re using.

They don’t need another 12-step plan, they need help making sense of what they already have.

What to keep.

What to discard.

What actually fits their business, audience, and capacity.

Implementation

Ideas are cheap. Execution is rare.

In expertise-led businesses, demand will shift away from teaching and toward supporting action.

People don’t want another strategy.

They want help implementing the one they already believe in.

Consistency. Systems. Accountability. Momentum.

That’s where real results live.

Identity

As AI floods the market with generic expertise, your identity will become the sole differentiator.

The businesses that win won’t be the ones that sound the smartest - they’ll be the ones that sound the most themselves.

Your voice. Values. Perspective. Lived experience.

That’s what will build trust in an AI-first world.

So if you’re building or evolving an expertise-led business as we move into 2026, this is the question I keep coming back to:

Are you helping people consume more information -

OR helping them integrate, implement, and embody the information they already have?

Something to think about as we plan for 2026.
